Robert Balan started working in entertainment in the mid 80’s as a house tech at The Philadelphia Spectrum setting up shows for everyone from WWF Wrestling to Fleetwood Mac and Heart while simultaneously going to electronics school to learn how to design and repair all the industry’s equipment. In the late 80’s he began running sound figuring that having a solid background using the equipment he repairs would be beneficial.

The same happened with recording. Around 1990 he started repairing recording equipment and started using it to record onsite for bands and corporate events, bringing the recordings back to the office and doing a mixdown and mastering. Robert has worked in countless sessions with a countless number of artists.

It is at that time running sound,recording and designing systems and shows became his passion.

Robert has worked on countless shows, musicals, concerts, recording sessions since and loves what he does.
